In general Legal Aid is not available for minor motoring offences. We therefore provide some guidance and overview of our fee structure for when you instruct us on matters before the Magistrates Court and Crown Court where we are not able to apply for Legal Aid on your behalf.

Although it is difficult to classify each individual case, as all cases are based on their individual circumstances. We will always keep you advised of any additional costs that are likely to be incurred. As a guidance our fee structure is based as follows:

1. First Hearing/Single Hearing at the Magistrates Court within local travelling distance of our offices.( 40 mile radius)
This will include Guilty Pleas and cases that are further adjourned for subsequent hearings.
£350 + VAT

2. Cases listed for Trial at the Magistrates Court within local travelling distance to our offices.
( 40 mile radius)
Half Day listing – £600 – £ 1000 + VAT
Full Day Listing – £1000 – £1500 +VAT

3. Cases listed for Exceptional Hardship applications and Special Reasons applications.
Within Local travelling distance of our offices. (40 mile radius).
£600 – £850 +VAT

4. Cases listed before the Crown Court including Appeals. Within Local travelling distance of our offices. (40 mile radius).
£1000 – £2000 + VAT

Please not these fees will be adjusted accordingly if an Expert witness is instructed and if travelling exceeds the local mileage referred to above.
